Eight files. Everything in them is quoted from the books themselves, R. H. Charles's translations of 1 Enoch (1917) and Jubilees (1902), and the King James Bible, with the reference on every line so it can be checked. Where a line is the Word's testimony, it says so.

| Jubilees fills in the aftermath. After the flood the spirits of the giants begin to lead Noah's grandchildren astray. Noah prays; God orders the spirits bound. Their chief, Mastema, pleads: "leave some of them before me, and let them hearken to my voice." God leaves him one tenth. Nine tenths are bound; one tenth stays on the earth, under Mastema, until the judgment. The angels then teach Noah the remedies against them, and Noah writes them in a book. | Jubilees 10:1-14 |
| So the spirit left behind when a giant died is, in these books, a bodiless hunger: born of a body that should not have existed, with nowhere to go, hungry and thirsty with no food, attacking the living because it came from them. | The New Testament carries the same picture without the name. The unclean spirit "walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none," then returns to the house it left with seven others. That is 1 Enoch 15:11 in one sentence. | Matthew 12:43-45 |

| Where Jesus stands in Enoch's own terms: the Parables name a Son of Man who is hidden before creation and revealed to the elect, and in 71:14 that title is given to Enoch. | The honest caution, stated once. Black or tar-like matter seen in a vision, in a photograph, or expelled from a body has natural candidates in each case: in the eye, a floater or a migraine scotoma; in a photograph, a lens flare, a sensor artefact, a bird, a smudge, or compression; in a body, bile. Where the books touch it1 Enoch 10:4-5 sentences Azazel to be covered with darkness; the Word says what was left over was “the black dark matter” and “the rest was banished.” 1 Enoch 14:8 has clouds and mist call Enoch up before the throne. Neither text is evidence for the photograph, and the photograph is not evidence for the text. They are set side by side and left there.
The Word’s account is filed as testimony. The reads are filed as findings. Neither is edited to fit the other.
